Make it do or do without!

I need to practice long arm machine quilting skills too, so I sewed random scraps together according to a note book lesson I’m taking and have come up with this. Trunk show with Chippendales

Double 9 patch and butterfly blocks. A quilt is born!
I’m going to show you this one from the beginning to the almost end. I drafted out a sort of picture of what I wanted to make and figured the dimensions I needed and the number of each block. White on white quilt, linen and cotton

Primarily Primitive Quilt (and more)

This quilt is called “Primarily Primitive” It started as a block exchange (3 of the blocks are from an exchange) then it became a border challenge, starting with the basket in the heart with three little baskets below it, then it became a challenge to use up my sample blocks and leftover blocks from other quilts that …
Reupholstered love seat is done!
I finished reupholstering the love seat last week, I just placed it in the dining room temporarily until I finish the rocking chair and get rid of the old furniture. I am very pleased with it. I have about 2 yards of the linen fabric left, probably not enough to do the rocking chair, so I went to purchase more, and of course they are all out of it! Hopefully …
